How Xachi works
Listings live on X. Bids are replies. Payment and shipping happen directly between buyer and seller, and Xachi shows each of you what to do next.
Selling
- 1Create a listingChoose Auction or Buy Now, add photos and details, and set your price rules. It's saved as a draft until you publish.
- 2Publish to XXachi posts it from @xachihq. That post is where people bid.
- 3Watch the bidsBids appear on your listing 2–4 minutes after they're posted on X. You can cancel until the first bid arrives — after that, the auction runs to its end time.
- 4When it endsIf it sold, you'll see the buyer and your next steps on the listing. If the reserve wasn't met, there's no sale: you decide whether to list it again or reach out to the top bidder.
- 5Tell the buyer how to payAdd pay instructions on the listing and message the buyer on X. They have 48 hours to pay.
- 6Confirm payment, then shipOnce the money arrives, mark it received. You then have 72 hours to ship. Add tracking and mark it shipped.
- 7DoneThe sale completes when the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically 5 days after shipping unless they report a problem.

FAQ
Does Xachi hold my money?
No. Buyers pay sellers directly. Xachi tracks the deal and the deadlines, but never touches the money or the item.
How do I know what to do next?
Every listing shows a “What happens next” box with your next step and deadline. My listings and My bids put anything that needs you at the top, and the nav shows a count.
Why doesn't my bid show up yet?
X takes a couple of minutes to make replies searchable. Bids appear 2–4 minutes after you post them.
Why wasn't my bid counted?
Usually it was below the next valid bid, arrived after the end, or the amount wasn't on its own line. Your listing and My bids show the exact reason and the fix.
Is there sniping protection?
No. The auction ends at the listed time. A bid counts if X timestamps it at or before the end.
Can the seller cancel?
Only before the first bid. Once a bid is accepted, the auction runs to its end.
What if the reserve isn't met?
There's no sale and no one owes anything. The seller decides whether to list it again or contact the top bidder on X.
What if someone misses a deadline?
A buyer who doesn't pay, or a seller who doesn't ship, gets it on their public record. If the facts aren't clear (for example, the buyer says they paid but the seller didn't confirm), Xachi reviews it first and posts nothing until it's resolved.
Something went wrong with my sale.
Use “Report a problem” on the listing. It pauses all deadlines and sends the sale to Xachi for review. You can also reach @xachihq on X.
